The 2004 Legislation allows you to obtain identifying details about your parent(s) donor from the age of 16. It does not allow you to obtain identifying details about siblings. Contact with siblings can only be through the Donor and Offspring Register if both parties register.
If you are over 18 years of age, you can place your name on the Register - This is a means of letting people related through donor conception to connect if they wish. If there is a match we will contact the people registered and discuss their wishes. Your contact details will not be given out without your consent. Visit www.jigsawdna.org.au If you are under 18, your parents can register until you are 18 years of age.
We encourage you to use our services which are free and confidential, and available to all parties involved in donor conception.
